Press Lock to lock all doors.  Press unlock once to unlock the driver's door, twice for all doors.  On vehicles equipped with power liftgate, hold the power liftgate button for 2 seconds to open.

Press the panic button to get the vehicle to chirp and flash lights to help you locate the vehicle in a parking lot.  Press and hold the panic button to sound the alarm in an emergency.  Press and hold the panic again to turn the alarm off.

Press Lock and then hold the remote start button to remote start the engine.  The default climate control settings will go into effect when the vehicle is remote started.  Program the climate control using the owner's manual to set the defaults to your liking.  You may want to run the heat and defroster in the winter and the air conditioner in the summer.  Vehicles without automatic climate control will use the settings the car was left in.
